The Swedish death metal band Grotesque has broken up and gotten back together, broken up and got together for a single concert in 2007. They have six releases from 1988 to 2001. The band has eight members over its various incarnations.
The Music Salon used grotesque to describe a “a vile arrangement with thudding percussion” of a version of a duet from the opera Lakrme. The writer goes on to describe some of Shostakovich’s symphonic work the same way.
Australian blogger Gwyneth looks for grotesque in other forms of music in her blog, Groteskology or a study of the grotesque. She says, “The word grotesque also appears in a number of song titles, most enthusiastically vile. A YouTube search should have you retching in the acceptable manner.”
There was the short-lived label Grotesque Music that promised “a fusion of sounds and the more darker sounds, tech trance and twist of psy but also reworks from classics!!”
I started as yoga trainer and getting more and more close with people who came for yoga classes, I saw that it might not be all I can do for them. Then I started thinking about elaborating my own complex lifestyle program. I already had a bunch of ideas – so it started swiftly.
